We are coast guard certified for up to 15 passengers and the boat captain, and we have a maximum weight capacity of 2960 pounds. We have 10 pedal stations and comfortable seating for an additional five passengers, so bring your whole crew.
As little as two can pedal the boat, but we recommend at least six pedalers.
Sure! As long as they are accompanied by an adult. Children under the age of 13 are required to wear a life jacket, which we can supply.
Not to ride, but to pedal the seats are adjustable down to about a three-foot leg span.
You bet! Just email us or give us a call.
Absolutely. A Dryft Cycleboat driver is required at all times.
If you are pleased with your tour and the driver you are welcome to tip him. I’m sure he would appreciate it!
Heck no! We’re on the water, so hills aren’t a problem, and the paddle wheel can be adjusted in the water at a level of resistance most comfortable to you.
We strongly suggest that you swim, though falling overboard would be difficult – our 42” rails surround the hull. However, if you do manage to fall off the boat, we are equipped with life jackets and rings to retrieve you.
Sure, but only when we’re not pedaling and only if you know how to swim.
We operate rain or shine. You’re on the water, so you shouldn’t mind getting a little wet! However, if thunder and lightening, heavy winds or other severe weather should occur the driver has the right to cancel the tour and offer either a rain check or refund. If for some reason you do wish to cancel, please review our Cancellation Policy.
No, but you can bring your own. We can also stop by one of the shoreline restaurants for a quick refreshment if you’d like.
While we will accept walk-ons, reservation isn’t guaranteed until payment is made. The easiest way is to pay online when you make your reservations, but you can call us as well.
